Reports said the girl had disagreement and her late mother on Wednesday evening when the deceased asked her to go and prepare dinner.
The young girl was said to have protested the order. As a corrective measure, the mother slapped her.
In retaliation, the little girl allegedly picked up a plank and smashed it on her mother’s head.
Every efforts made to save the life of the woman from the fatal injury she sustained did not yield positively.
Since the incident, the whereabouts of the girl remains unknown. The news of the mother’s death broke Thursday.
Leaders of the community have passed a decree that the young girl should not return to the community.
The Choba community among others plays host to the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport) witnessed rowdiness after a young girl allegedly killed her mother with a plank.
